Kibbutz Givat Haim Ihud

This special petting zoo called “Touching the Animals” (Lagaat BaChayot in Hebrew) is located on Kibbutz Givat Haim Ihud in the Hefer Valley.

In the safari complex, the animals roam freely including: deer, chickens, ducks, geese, goats, peacocks and more. The petting zoo has rabbits, turtles, hamsters, and other sweet animals you can take out of the cage and pet forever.

Every half hour a tractor leaves the complex entrance area for a drive around the kibbutz. At the entrance there is also a horse you can ride for an extra fee, if your child is two years or older.

There is also a milking compound where you can milk a goat and when you get tired you can rest in the lawn area on large mats or at the picnic tables.

The animal farm is open all days of the week.
