Kibbutz Sarid Dining Hall Food

Kibbutz Sarid

On Kibbutz Sarid in the northern Jezreel Valley, a kosher lunch is offered to the public from 13:00-14:30. The menu here emphasizes on healthy dishes, and serves a choice of two different soups and dishes for vegans and vegetarians. The main selection includes fish, meat and chicken which they prepare without the use of soup powders and without frying.

On Thursdays there is a chef position that each week prepares different foods such as falafel, hamburger, Thai dishes, chicken in beer and dishes from the Arab cuisine.

Once a week, on Tuesdays from 8 pm to 6 pm, a dairy dinner is served at the dining hall which includes a fresh vegetable bar, salads, cheeses, milky soup and dishes such as pancakes with toppings, omelettes, jahannon, malsaw, pastas, pies and potatoes.

Local artists’ also exhibit their work in the dining hall and on Friday afternoons you can buy ready-made food here.
