Kibbutz Eyal, (named after a Jewish fighting organization of the Jews of the Warsaw ghetto) is located near the Eyal Interchange on Road 6 and close to the Green Line.

The kibbutz originally started in the Upper Galilee on the easteren shores of what was then Lake Hula. But due to the difficult security situation, the kibbutz was forced to move to its current location near the Arab Palestinian city of Qalqilya. For years the kibbutz was remote and isolated and again due to difficult security and economic realities, in the late 1950s and early 1960s, most of the kibbutz members left and were replaced by younger settlers from the “Mahanot Haolim” youth movement.

Visit Kibbutz Eyal

Today, Kibbutz Eyal is located in the center of the country, on the banks of the eastern banks of an asphalt “river” of cars (Road 6). Thanks to the nearby communities that have been established over the years, Eyal is no longer isolated and remote.

If you’re interested in sculpting workshops, you’ll find Studio 36 on Kibbutz Eyal – a sculpture study center that offers a variety of courses and workshops.
