Kibbutz Einat is located in central Israel near the city of Petah Tikva. The kibbutz operates a banquet hall and a secular cemetery that offers non-religious Israelis a burial option that skirts the religious establishment.

Kibbutz Einat was established in 1952 by Mapai members who retired from Givat Hashlosha and Ramat HaKovesh in the great split in the kibbutz movement. As part of the split, the shoe factory was also split up and each kibbutz set up its own shoe factory. In 1972, the factories reunited and today the company is called Noga-Einat.

Visit Kibbutz Einat

In Einat, in addition to many branches of agriculture and initiatives of residents, there is also the third largest bakery in the country – Deganit Ein Bar, which means that a tour of the kibbutz during the challah baking hours and the smell that floods the trails can be a tourist attraction in itself. Another industry is called Einat Food Industries, which specializes in long-shelf-life pastries such as sandwiches, baguettes, salads and more in packaging.

But those who really want to enjoy Einat culinary specialties (unpackaged) should come to the kibbutz. Sit at “Gingi’s Hummus Bar” who grows the chickpeas in the kibbutz fields, chooses them carefully and attracts hummus lovers from all over the country.

You can also visit “Hagay and the Bread Bakery“, a fifth-generation artisan baker who grows the wheat for bread himself and bakes in a traditional method (and also does baking workshops). Pamper yourself at the “Pot Whisperer” restaurant by Ayelet Zehavi, who has set up a meeting place for healthy home-cooked food. And finally, enjoy the magical desserts at “A-Feya” coffee and baked goods.
