The combination of cold beer and hot burgers is enticing at the Julian Mack Pub on Kibbutz Ramat Hashofet. The laid-back kibbutz pub, five minutes from Yokneam, starts almost every evening with kibbutz chatter, slowly increasing the volume and pumping up the crowded dance floor.
The bar, which opened more than a decade ago and has since gained an impressive record of special and successful productions, holds kibbutz parties, sports broadcasts, and hosts live performances, lectures and private events.
The pub holds parties for different ages, but on Saturday at noon everyone is invited to homemade hummus and a homely kibbutz atmosphere.
